Contestants who appeared in previous TTTT versions and returned for this fifth series include "The Waltons" creator
Earl Hamner, Jr., who had been featured in 1973, Hollywood bug man Steven Kutcher (1990), "Spider-Man" co-creator
Stan Lee (1970), and "Wizard of Oz" munchkin Jerry Marin (1990). Not only did record-holding record holder
Ashrita Furman make a second TTTT appearance, but he'd been featured in exactly the same episode and
segment (show 29, segment 2) in series four. Going for another world's record, maybe?
